they’re coming home for the hoilday
if you see this on your dash and don’t reblog judging you
whenever i see them, i thank them. you dont even know half of what they go through
Treat yourself like you would a best friend. Treat yourself like you would a sister or brother. Treat yourself like you would your future son or daughter. You wouldn’t want them to feel like they’re not enough. You wouldn’t want them to crumble to their knees in tears at the sight of their own reflection. You wouldn’t want them to suffer in silence.
Treat yourself like you’re a person who deserves love & care because that’s what you are.
I legit just found the most life-changing blog on tumblr. You need to click on her blog to experience the happiness it and it’s playlist brought me. This is her blog here
Her playlist brings a smile to my face
p e r f e c t i o n (her blog is perfect)
Thought I would hate the blog but I LOVE the playlist
This is so difficult as well.
The other day, my brother texted me, he was very depressed and just in a bad place, and I called him, and tried to give some words of encouragement and advice. This is the best I could come up with:
Live up to your best version of yourself. Every day, regardless of how you feel, do what you believe the person you want to be would do.
But that’s so difficult isn’t it?
Sometimes I am angry and discouraged and judgmental and critical. And even worse, I naturally like to share everything I think, so a lot of the times, what comes out of my mouth is in no way what the best version of me would say.
Life is hard.
And being true to the best version of yourself, to your aspirations and ideals, is even harder.
